The Year-End Operations Tune-Up

Three working sessions in December to find the gaps costing your organization the most, fix them with your team, and start January with a plan.

Year-end is when an organization finds out which systems are real and which ones live in one person's head. The report nobody can find. The filing date nobody wrote down. The process that stops when one person takes a week off.

The Year-End Operations Tune-Up is a fixed-scope ToyBox engagement built for that moment: three working sessions in December, and a January plan your team can run on its own.

Who it's for

The three sessions

Session 1: Find it (90 minutes)

The leader and the board chair take ToyBox's free Operational Health Check and Board Governance Self-Assessment. ToyBox reviews the results alongside your budget vs. actual, policies, org chart and filing dates.

You get: a one-page scorecard across five areas (governance and leadership, finance and compliance, people and culture, programs and impact, technology and operations) and your top three risks.

Session 2: Fix it (2 hours, working session)

ToyBox and your team build the three quickest fixes together. For most nonprofits, that means:

You get: working versions of each fix, built with the people who will use them.

Session 3: Hand it off (90 minutes)

You get: a 90-day January plan with an owner and a date on every item, every template handed over, and one check-in call in January.

The small business version

Same three sessions, built on the five systems every small business needs:

Session 1 checks where the business stands on all five. Session 2 builds the fixes for the three that need it most. Session 3 hands over the plan.

What you walk away with

Timing

All sessions run in December. Book by Friday, November 20, 2026 to hold a December slot. ToyBox is taking a limited number of organizations, and slots go in the order calls are booked.

Price

The Tune-Up is a fixed price, set before any work starts, with a lower rate for smaller organizations. No hourly billing. ToyBox shares the price on the 30-minute call, once we know your organization and what it needs. If you sign a ToyBox retainer or Starter Package by January 31, 2027, the full Tune-Up fee counts toward it.

Start with a 30-minute call

Bring the one process that would stop if one person called in sick. On the call, ToyBox will tell you whether the Tune-Up fits, or what would fit better. If it fits, the next step is a discovery session to set your December dates.
